Find Joy in the Journey

As travelers along the path of life, we inevitably encounter obstacles, such as mental health issues, life transitions, or relationship difficulties, which can make our navigation challenging. At times it can be overwhelming to maneuver through these on our own. Therapy is a useful resource to assist us in re-charting our course.

My Role in your Journey is to be your Guide.

Each of us has the capacity with in us to successfully manage our own emotional and mental health concerns and to find satisfaction within ourselves and in our relationships. The foundational focus of my therapeutic approach first and foremost is to provide you with an empathetic and supportive partnership, helping you discover new skills to manage stressors, understand and accept yourself more fully, find deeper and more meaningful ways to connect with others, and improve relationships and so many other amazing discoveries that occur along the way. I bring nearly thirty years of extensive clinical experience or navigational tools to each and every session. I have had the honor of working with individuals, couples, and families across the life span ranging in age from youth to the elderly. I stay up to date of the most effective evidence based treatment approaches, that I adapt and personalize to my client's presenting concerns, strengths, personalities and overall goals. We will work together collaboratively, to develop a "road map" of where you want to travel to next in your journey, or what you want to achieve during your participation in therapy. I am an EMDR trained provider (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and I am currently in the process of completing certification as a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS). I am dedicated to offering therapy as an accessible option to those who are seeking it but may be facing cost prohibitive challenges. For this reason I continue to keep my rates lower and reasonable.
