As a therapist my role is that of a guide; there to help you navigate through the difficult roads you may find yourself traveling. The foundational focus of my therapeutic approach is to first and foremost to provide you with an empathetic and supportive partnership in discovering new skills to manage stressors, understanding and accepting yourself more fully, and to find deeper and more meaningful ways to connect with others. Each of us has the capacity within us to successfully manage our own emotional and mental health concerns, and to find satisfaction within ourselves and our relationships. My professional experience spans nearly 25 years in a variety of professional settings. I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families ranging from youth to the elderly. I am a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional(CCFP). In addition I have studied and provided numerous treatment approaches, that I adapt to personalize to my clients presenting concerns, strengths and personalities.
